Home Educator Course

Spalding Education's online Home Educator course is a self-paced course that allows you to complete the assignments when it is best suited for your schedule.

Each topic was carefully selected for its effectiveness for your overall knowledge of the Spalding Method. You will learn the 70 most common phonograms using a multisensory approach, Spalding’s unique Marking System to help your child analyze high-frequency spelling words, and Spalding Spelling procedures proven to effectively teach your child how to spell and read.

Finish all five units before teaching your child. All five units are important for you as the home educator and will build the foundational skills necessary to help you successfully implement Spalding with fidelity.

Participants are given a one year membership to the Spalding Resource Center (SRC).
